First, thanks for your interest in investing in the lives of the youth in our community. As a community church in Salida, CA for over 32 years, we've seen the increasingly difficult challenges that our community's youth deal with. To help our youth face these challenges, our church decided to invest in a community center, offering recreational games, community meeting space, computer lab, basketball gym, and anything else our community youth need to help them succeed in life. Our church's passion and commitment to our community's families and youth resulted in the investment of a $1.3million, 6,000 sq. ft. community center. With plans to open it up daily, the community center is expected to be fully operational by June 2008. As you can imagine, cost and resources for a project this size required our church give of their time and resources above what we usually request. And thus so far, our church is proud of what we've accomplished, but there is so much more we - our church and you - can do. We're proud to offer a safe and comfortable place where youth feel valued and understand that an investment is being made in their future. We hope you join us in the effort!
